About the RF Universal Remote for AC Ceiling Fans (FRM87)
The FRM87 is a straightforward remote kit for adding handheld control to an AC ceiling fan. It covers high, medium and low speeds, light on and off, and enabling or disabling dimming, with 16 code combinations so neighbouring fans don't interfere. The kit includes the receiver, a wall mount for the remote and a 9V battery, with a range of up to 10m. It suits incandescent and compact fluorescent lamps, loads up to 180W fan and 100W light, and must be installed by a licensed electrician.
