- Sensor floodlights are ideal for driveways and side paths, as they only switch on when needed, saving power.

What IP rating should outdoor lights have?
For covered areas IP44 is usually fine; for exposed walls, gardens and anywhere that gets direct rain look for IP65 or higher.
