Where is the showroom and when is it open?

You will find us on Dean Street, Albury's main street, at the corner of David Street. There is easy street parking close to the door.

If you work during the week, Thursday is our late day, when we stay open until 6pm.

What will you find in store?

Lighting Bonanza is one of the largest independent lighting stores in rural Australia. Rather than a few sample boards, the showroom is filled with working fittings, so you can judge size, brightness and colour properly.

• Ceiling fans installed and running, so you can compare airflow, noise and finishes side by side, including DC fans, AC fans, fans with lights and outdoor fans.
• Hundreds of pendant lights hung and lit, from rattan and timber to glass, concrete and metal, plus linear pendants for islands and dining tables.
• LED downlights, oysters, flush mounts and spot lights.
• Wall lights, sconces and bathroom vanity lights.
• Exterior, sensor and garden lights.
• Hundreds of table, floor and desk lamps, plus replacement lamp shades.
• 3-in-1 bathroom heat, light and exhaust units, exhaust fans and outdoor heat units.
• A technical lighting area, and a large range of globes on hand, including LED, smart and specialty globes.

What should you bring to the showroom?

A few things make a visit far more productive, especially if you are choosing more than one light.

• Room measurements and ceiling heights, so we can size fans and pendants correctly.
• Photos of the room, including the existing light or fan and the surrounding finishes.
• Your house plans if you are building or renovating.
• The old globe if you need a replacement, so we can match the base, shape and colour.
• The lamp base if you are after a new shade, so we can check the size and fitting.

How do you get to the showroom?

The showroom is on Dean Street in central Albury, at the David Street corner. From Lavington or Thurgoona, head into the Albury CBD and make for Dean Street. From Wodonga, cross the Murray on the Lincoln Causeway into Albury and head for Dean Street.

Customers come from right across Albury-Wodonga, North-East Victoria and Southern NSW, and some travel 150km to shop with us. If you are coming a long way, call ahead on 02 6021 8814 and tell us what you are looking for so we can have options ready.

Why visit a local independent showroom?

Seeing a light in person is different from seeing it online. Pendants are often bigger or smaller than they look in a photo, the colour of light varies between brands, and fan noise is hard to judge from a specification sheet.

As an independent store we are not limited to a handful of suppliers. We deal with more than 150, so if something on the floor is close but not quite right, there is a good chance we can order the version you want. And we back up what we sell: if an issue comes up after you buy, you can come back and talk to a real person face to face.
