Bree and Daniel took over Lighting Bonanza in September 2026. They are continuing what customers have always valued about the store: a huge range to see in person, honest advice, and a local team who back up what they sell.

You will find them in the showroom on the corner of Dean and David Streets, working with customers and the team.

Lynette, Lighting Consultant

Lynette is one of our lighting consultants and helps customers choose lights and ceiling fans in the showroom. Customers have mentioned her patience with questions. One customer wrote: 'Big shout out to Lynette, so friendly and helpful she answered all my annoying questions. Really lovely lady who knew her stuff, bought a great ceiling fan and will definitely go back to the store for future purchases.'

Leeanne, Lighting Consultant

Leeanne is one of our lighting consultants, helping customers plan rooms and choose fittings. Whether you need one smart globe or a complete house lot for a new build, the team will give you advice that suits your space and budget. We work with most local electricians and builders, and we back up what we sell, so if something goes wrong you can talk to the same people face to face.

A long local history

Lighting Bonanza has been part of Albury for more than 25 years. The business was bought by Kevan Porter when he retired from the Victorian education system, and his son Steve and daughter-in-law Sharon ran it for many years before handing over to Bree and Daniel in September 2026.
